If you found your way here, you maybe just passed us. My name is Tim. I'm a information security professional and tech enthusiast. My family is taking this Winnebago Brave on trips across America. Our mission is to explore this beautiful country, meet people and simultaneously promote our favorite decentralized currency, Doge Coin.
Crypto currency is an exciting new way to pay people for goods and services. Even more exciting are the new revolutionary, decentralized, censorship resistant services which will build the next version of The Internet dubbed Web 3.0.

Why Doge?
If you know about cryptocurrency you might be asking, why Doge? We could have supported any number of great projects like Cardano (ADA), Ripple (XRP), Stellar (XLM), Dash (DASH) and Chainlink (LINK) to name a few. Then there are the tried and true titans of crypto, Bitcoin (BTC) and Etherium (ETH). All of these cryptocurrencies have a place in your portfolio, but none of them have the magic of the "meme". There is something awesome about that cute little Shiba Inu's face staring mischievously off to one side.
In addition to the viral allure of Doge, Elon Musk and Mark Cuban are scheming to make it a mainstream form of payment. While other cryptos claim to be going to the moon, Elon Musk and Space X might be doing it literally. Check out this CNBC article about the 2022 Doge-1 mission.
There is nothing new about person to person digital payments. We use apps like Venmo, CashApp and PayPal everyday, but these rely on centralized (fiat) money structures. They can be slow to set up and settle payments through. An example, my mother-in-law recently sent a $140 Venmo payment to my wife and it stayed "in review" for five days. Crypto should be available to everyone and flow freely enabling new avenues of commerce. A coin needs to be inexpensive, and stay that way. This prevents whales from hodling and manipulating the markets. Tech YouTuber Marques Brownlee does a great break down on why a joke "meme" coin like Doge might have a better chance at becoming the crypto "for the people."

Why a Winnebago?
The short answer, it's what I can afford to finance. We are not four skinny hipsters. We take up and need more space, so DogeSprinterVan.com was a no go. However, this 2016 Winnebago Brave 27B is different than any modern motorhome on the road today. In 2014 Winnebago decided to make a new RV honoring their past. For two years 2015 and 2016, they manufactured the Brave and Tribute with a retro look similar to the 1970's Chieftain. The iconic flat nose and angled "eyebrow" of the older model was carried forth in the new design. The Winne continues the retro look inside with a 50s diner like interior, accents and color scheme. The new Winnebago is odd, and cute, just like the Doge doggo.
